As the Collective sets its course for the third year, it will be mindful of how the aforementioned challenges and opportunities develop. For example:

  • If, as we all hope, the effects of the pandemic ease, will progress be lost? Will there be a retreat to the situation pre-pandemic?
  • What is the optimal relationship between what some are now calling ‘infrastructure’ bodies like the Collective, BD_Giving, and CVS?
  • What is the most effective balance between the contributions of public systems, social sector organisations and wider civil society?
  • By what means can we ensure that not only is the resident voice better heard but that it becomes integral to the design and learn process?
